Public & Digital History Major (A.A.)
Purpose
The Associate of Arts in Public and Digital History equips students with foundational skills in historical research, interpretation, and digital communication through a Christian worldview. The program integrates traditional historical study with emerging technologies, preparing students to preserve, interpret, and present the past through museums, archives, and online media. Designed for students seeking immediate career application or progression into Liberty’s bachelor’s programs in history, this degree fosters critical thinking, ethical historical engagement, and practical proficiency in public and digital history. Graduates will be equipped to use history as a tool for education, community engagement, and cultural preservation in both physical and digital environments.
Program Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Apply historical research and interpretation skills to communicate and present history through public and digital media within a Christian worldview.
