Purpose

The Associate in Science in Physics major provides an opportunity for students to ground their collegiate course of study in mathematics and physics in order to advance their academic skills as they pursue a variety of technologically oriented careers.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

• Use mathematical techniques for problem solving.
• Explain the foundational principles for physics.
• Relate how the laws of physics support a biblical worldview.

Delivery Format: Online Only

• Lab assistant or technician (particular qualification/requirements notwithstanding)
• Science Teacher (with continuance to the B.Ed.)
• Physicist (with additional education)
