Important: This degree plan is effective for those starting this degree program in fall 2025 through summer 2026. This degree plan will remain in effect for students who do not break enrollment or who do not change degree programs, concentrations, or cognates.

Foundational courses are required to be taken within the first semester.

Students with a grade of ‘B’ or higher in undergraduate courses in biblical languages may apply for advanced placement for NGRK 520, NGRK 525, OTCL 520, and OTCL 525.

Choose any 500-600 level course.

A student who desires to pursue the thesis track must consult the program director regarding course sequencing and thesis development within the first semester. The student must take RTCH 680THES 689, and THES 690 in order. Students should also begin RTCH 680 in the first semester. If a student is not ready for enrollment in THES 690 after completing THES 689, as determined by the program director, the student may be required to repeat THES 689 until deemed ready for enrollment in THES 690.

Graduation Requirements

  • Complete 48 hours
  • A maximum of 50% of the program hours may be transferred if approved and allowable, including credit from an earned degree from Liberty University on the same academic level
  • 2.0 GPA
  • Degree must be completed within 5 years
  • Submission of Degree Completion Application must be completed within the last semester of a student’s anticipated graduation date
