The Graduate Certificate in Middle Grades is a non-licensure certificate program that focuses on the unique development and educational needs of students in the middle grades. Emphasis is placed on instructional strategies that increase engagement and motivation for middle-grade learners. This certificate is appropriate for teachers, administrators, and counselors seeking a better understanding of the characteristics of students in the middle grades.
