Purpose

The purpose of the Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology and Online Instruction is to develop educators with a biblical worldview and to enhance educators' existing expertise with skills necessary to build and implement high-quality, competitive, technology-driven curricula. Emphasis is placed on developing familiarity with present and future technologies and trends in technology education, understanding their compatibility with traditional or online classroom instruction, creating lessons that properly align the best technology tool to the lesson objective, and critiquing existing plans to improve teacher and student performance. This certificate is intended to better equip teachers, counselors, and administrators to serve students.
