Unmanned Aircraft Operations Major (B.S.)
Purpose
The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Unmanned Aircraft Operations major is to produce professional unmanned aerial systems operators with technical competence and sound judgment grounded in a biblical worldview. Students can acquire Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane Pilot ratings for Private and Instrument, FAR Part 107 certification, and medium UAS certification. Through industry partnerships, students will fly both multirotor and fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Systems of various sizes and gain real-world experience.
