The student will be able to:
- Apply safety management systems knowledge to aeronautics.
Purpose
The Flight Education minor is designed to prepare students for professional roles in aviation instruction by equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Instrument Instructor (CFII) ratings. Through a focused sequence of five courses, students will develop advanced flight competencies, instructional techniques, and safety awareness, while integrating ethical leadership and a Christian worldview into their professional practice. This minor complements a variety of major fields within aeronautics and beyond, fostering career readiness and a commitment to excellence in service, education, and aviation safety.
