Aviation Maintenance Technician Certificate
Purpose
The purpose of the Aviation Maintenance Technician Certificate is to complete all subjects and materials needed to test for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification as an aircraft mechanic with ratings in Airframe and Powerplant. The program is designed to learn in a concentrated cohort format and complete all coursework in under twelve months, or three consecutive terms. Some courses in the program include Maintenance Mathematics, Aircraft Electrical Systems, and Turbine Engines.
Program Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Apply science, technology, and mathematics in the area of aviation maintenance.
- Solve aviation maintenance issues and problems individually, and within a team environment.
- Apply Biblical principles in the aviation maintenance environment.
