Forensic Science Major (B.S.)


The purpose of the Forensic Science major is to prepare students for careers in federal, state and private forensic laboratories through a strong emphasis in biology, chemistry and criminal justice.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

  • Apply standard and principles of safe practice in the laboratory or field environment.
  • Understand ethical issues in the life sciences in light of a biblical/Christian worldview.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental forensic science concepts.
  • Conduct, analyze, and summarize forensic science research.
