Conservation & Environmental Biology Major (B.S.)
Purpose
The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Environmental Biology major is to prepare students for graduate school and employment in the environmental sciences. A broad course background in biology and chemistry provides study which emphasizes a stewardship role of God’s creation.
Program Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Apply standards and principles of safe practice in the laboratory or field environment.
- Understand ethical issues in the life sciences in light of a biblical/Christian worldview.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental environmental concepts.
- Conduct, analyze, and summarize environmental research.
