Biopsychology Major (B.S.)

Purpose

The Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology major is intended to give students preparation for medical or similar professional schools, graduate studies, and employment in the cross-disciplinary field of biopsychology. Students are immersed in hands-on, practical experiences in laboratories and lectures taught from the biblical worldview, such that they are well prepared to enter the workforce or pursue additional educational opportunities.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

  • Apply standards and principles of safe practice in the laboratory.
  • Understand ethical issues in the life sciences in light of a biblical/Christian worldview.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental biopsychological concepts.
  • Conduct, analyze, and summarize biopsychological research.
