Purpose

The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Worship Studies major is to provide students with broad knowledge and skills in worship ministry. This is accomplished through training in biblical foundations, worship theology, worship philosophy, and worship methodology.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

• Build a personal philosophy of worship based on theological principles.
• Develop worship strategies based on an evaluation of various ministry contexts.
• Evaluate various scenarios within the diverse evangelical community and make application to the worship leader's roles.
• Articulate historical developments that have led to the current application of worship in the evangelical community.
