Criminal Justice Major (A.A.)
Purpose
The Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice major equips students with a foundation of knowledge of criminal justice through demonstrated competence in the criminal justice systems, properly applying principles of criminal law, and identifying the foundations of the American criminal law system. Finally, it produces action-oriented students who become productive problem solvers in the criminal justice community.
Program Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Demonstrate competence in the basic criminal justice process.
- Evaluate the nature and causes of crime as they relate to biblical worldview principles.
- Apply basic principles of criminal law.
- Identify and evaluate the sources of criminal law in the American system.
