The Comprehensive Exam must be taken after completing all courses except for the Project and Practicum courses (NURS 840, NURS 841, NURS 842, NURS 843, NURS 947, NURS 948, NURS 949, and NURS 950).
Additional Major Requirements
- Successful completion of Comprehensive Exam
- Successful completion of 1,050 Practicum hours (750 Nurse Practitioner hours and 300 DNP practicum hours)

Graduation Requirements
- Complete 69 hours
- A maximum of 50% of a post-graduate and doctoral degree may be transferred if approved and allowable, including credit from an earned degree from Liberty University on the same academic level
- 3.0 GPA
- No grades lower than B may be applied to the degree
- Degree must be completed within 5 years
- Submission of Degree Completion Application must be completed within the last semester of a student’s anticipated graduation date
