Once a student enters into the Dissertation phase, he/she must maintain continuous enrollment (Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters) until all degree requirements are completed

PhD students are allowed to enroll in NURS 987 a maximum of three times before their dissertation proposal is approved. Extensions for exceptional circumstances must be approved by the School of Nursing

Graduation Requirements
- Complete 60 hours
- A maximum of 50% of a post-graduate and doctoral degree may be transferred if approved and allowable, including credit from an earned degree from Liberty University on the same academic level
- 3.0 GPA
- No grades lower than B- may be applied to the degree
- Liberty University coursework that is more than 7 years old may not apply towards this degree. Students are required to repeat the course if it has exceeded the age limit.
- Successful defense of dissertation
- Successful publication of dissertation to the Jerry Falwell Library
- Degree must be completed within 7 years
- Submission of Degree Completion Application must be completed within the last semester of a student’s anticipated graduation date
