Purpose

The purpose of the Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling is to introduce a solution-based model for short-term counseling while examining the integration of psychology and theology, and counseling theories developed by Christian counselors.

Program Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to:

• Articulate an understanding of pastoral counseling that rests on solid theological/psychological/spiritual principles.
