Pastoral Leadership Major (B.S.)
The B.S. in Pastoral Leadership provides thorough preparation in the exposition of biblical scriptures and processing of leadership dynamics. The B.S. in Pastoral Leadership prepares the student to excel in ministry aptitude that lays a strong foundation for further academic training and/or local church ministry. The Pastoral Leadership program is designed to prepare students for local church pastoral ministry. Taught from a complementarian perspective, the B.S. in Pastoral Leadership major, minor, concentration and cognate prepares students who desire to serve in the role of pastor/shepherd/elder (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1).
The B.S. in Pastoral Leadership is designed to provide a thorough, biblically-based approach to practical ministry leadership. This program emphasizes sound doctrine and the ability to exposit biblical Scriptures from an accurate, conservative, evangelical hermeneutic principle. Building upon the said foundation, the program also focuses on an effective homiletic presentation.
