1 | Students with RN license and bachelors degree in a discipline other than Nursing must take NURS 225 Research in Nursing (3 c.h.), NURS 440 Strategies for Community Health Care (5 c.h.), NURS 445 Population Health (3 c.h.), NURS 490 Leadership/Management in Nursing (3,5 c.h.) and NURS 491 Nursing Management (3 c.h.) within the first year of the program |
2 | Introductory statistics course (math preferred) and an undergraduate course in health assessment (e.g., NURS 210 Health Assessment (3 c.h.)) are required. For those who did not complete these courses in their undergraduate programs, they may fulfill these requirements during the first two semesters of the MSN program. Students must complete the statistics course prior to enrollment in NURS 500 Research (3 c.h.) |

Graduation Requirements
- Complete 42 hours
- A maximum of 50% of the program hours may be transferred if approved and allowable, including credit from an earned degree from Liberty University on the same academic level
- 3.0 GPA
- No grades lower than B- may be applied to the degree
- Liberty University coursework that is more than 5 years old may not be applied towards this degree. Students are required to repeat the course if it is has exceeded the age limit
- Degree must be completed within 5 years
- Submission of Degree Completion Application must be completed within the last semester of a student’s anticipated graduation date
